2021 Robert's Muscat Canelli
An Italian Varietal
The Wine: This is an off-dry wine, or a wine that has such bright fruit on the pallate it fools your tastebuds into thinking that there is a touch of sweetness in it. This crisp, lovely wine offers fresh notes of ripe melons, peach and perfumed honeysuckle with a delicate kiss of sweetness. It has a much wider food-pairing spectrum v.s. a Sauvignon Blanc or a Chardonnay. The Cure!

Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
The Wine! This crisp, lovely wine offers fresh notes of ripe melons, peach and perfumed honeysuckle on the nose and palate with just a delicate kiss of sweetness. It is sophisticated and fun at the same time. A wine that the whole table can enjoy. This is NOT a Moscato or a Muscadine. This is a fine wine that is considered, "Off Dry", which means that the fruit on your palate is so bright it fools your senses into thinking that it has a some sweetness to it. It is a much more versatile food pairing wine versus a Sauvignon Blanc or a Chardonnay. The Cure!
Vineyard Notes
2,400 foot elevation, crushed granite soil, south facing vineyard in the Sierra Foothills in California. High Desert. For about 7 months each year, the humidity is below 25%, diurnal temperatures of 93 daytime and 58 nighttime and almost no rain for the entire growing season. Perfect place to grow great wine grapes!
Winemaker Notes
Winemaker’s Notes: Another long, hot and dry growing season on the Langman Estate vineyard in 2021. After a very wet winter the grapes matured very slowly and evenly into the end of September.
Food Pairing Notes
Much wider spectrum of food pairing v.s. a Sauvignon Blanc or a Chardonnay.
