Smoked Salmon Alfredo, Paired with Pinot Grigio

  • 1/4 Onion, Chopped
  • 1/4 cup Butter
  • 1/2 lb Smoked Salmon, Chopped
  • 1 Pint Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1 Tomato, Diced
  • 2 tbsps Chopped Fresh Parsley
  • Ground Black Pepper to Taste
  • 12 ozs Penne or Linguine or Fettuccine Pasta
  • Boil 3 quarts of water
  • Add pasta choice and return to a boil
  • Cook uncovered approx 10-12 minutes or until pasta is tender, stirring occasionally
  • Remove from heat and drain pasta 

The Sauce

  • Saute onion in the butter in a pan until clear
  • Add the Salmon and Saute at medium to low heat for approximately 2 more minutes
  • Very gradually, start to add the cream, stirring constantly until thickened
  • Sauce should be very thick once you have added the cream 
  • Pour sauce over the Pasta
  • Top with tomato and parsley and season with pepper
