2017 Raymond's Rows Petite Sirah

Winemaker’s Notes: 2016 was another excellent growing season for the Langman Estate Winery area of the Sierra Foothills in California. It was a very long, dry summer with excellent diurnal temperature changes that allowed the fruit to mature very evenly over the 7+ month growing season that extended harvest into October. This is a vintage of special wines.

The Wine: There are not many Petite Sirahs that can be enjoyed by everyone at the dinner table. This is another dramatic yet perfectly balanced Petite Sirah from our Langman Estate Vineyard. All of the virtues of a great Petite Sirah, yet approachable for all. This wine opens with a lush bouquet of black cherry, violet and sweet oak and leaves a satan palate coating of black plum, sweet walnut, almond and velvet tannins that has a 2 minute finish.
